Children’s Fine Art Portraits
$45 per child
I offer parents a more custom, candid and boutique option for beautiful portraits of your children. I pride myself on capturing a technically sound photograph that accentuates each child’s individual personality. I don’t like the word “cheese” and I do not believe in forcing a smile. I thrive on authenticity and natural expressiveness.
What are Fine Art Portraits? Fine art portraits are shot on a black background with natural light. Each child will receive 3-6 portraits in their online viewing gallery highlighting their natural personality shown in both colour and black and white. I make it fun and work quickly to meet the attention span of little ones. Spending only a few minutes with each child, I provide families with images for their walls that are unique, powerful, meaningful, desired and lasting!
What is Included? Each session will include a quick 5 minute mini session with each child. Within one week of the session, you’ll receive an online viewing gallery with 3-6 portraits of your child shown in both colour and black and white.
One high-resolution digital image with a print release is included in the session fee that can be chosen and downloaded directly in the viewing gallery. Additional digital images and prints are available to purchase.
What Products are Available for Purchase? I've hand selected a few special products which I truly believe in to make these portraits shine! These products are ALL made in Australia, by real people who believe in the history of fine craftsmanship. The prints are printed on professional digital paper with a 200 year archival life. Prices for prints start from $8 with additional high resolution digital images for $35 each.
When and Where? Portrait sittings will take place on Wednesday, 15th November and Sunday, 19th November in Mt Eliza. Each child will be allocated a 5 minute session with timings given on a first come first served basis.
What about Siblings? If two or more children are booked, the session fee is reduced to $35 per child. A sibling portrait can take place if requested.

Jenny Rusby is a natural light, lifestyle and documentary photographer and specialised newborn photographer, maternity photographer and family photographer. She services all areas of Victoria, including inner Melbourne suburbs such as Richmond, Northcote, Fitzroy, Collingwood, Malvern East, South Melbourne, Elwood, as well as outer south eastern subrubs, bayside areas such as Morntington, Sorrento and Red Hill. She also services the west of Melbourne and will travel to Geelong and further on request.
